Research

My research sits at the intersection of social epistemology and adult learning. I study how an imperialist apparatus of knowledge production governs what counts as legitimate understanding, and how its operation conditions the learning orientations available to differently positioned social groups.

Keywords: adult learning, social epistemology, hegemony, dialectical materialism, transformative learning
